What the extension does
On websites you allow, Command Click Rescue observes mouse events and examines the link under a Command-click. It checks whether that link points to an HTTP or HTTPS destination and stops interfering page event listeners so Safari can perform its normal link action. This processing happens locally on your Mac.
No tracking or data collection
The app and extension have no analytics, advertising, tracking, user accounts, third-party SDKs, or developer-operated backend. They do not save click activity or send page contents, URLs, or browsing history to the developer.
Your controls
Grant or revoke access to individual websites in Safari → Settings → Extensions. You can disable the extension or uninstall the app at any time. You can close the companion app after setup; Safari runs the extension.

Scope and changes
This policy covers Command Click Rescue’s app, Safari extension, and this support website. Websites you browse have their own privacy policies. If the app’s data handling changes, this policy will be updated before the change is released.
