Review & behavior test

Try a real link.

This page deliberately intercepts clicks on the test link. Without protection, its JavaScript replaces the current page instead of allowing Command-click to open a new tab.

1. Enable Command Click Rescue and allow access to masteranza.github.io in Safari.
2. Reload this page.
3. Hold ⌘ and click the link below. The destination should open in a new tab and this page should stay in place.

Command-click this link

Ordinary clicks still navigate the current tab. Disable the extension and reload to compare the intercepted Command-click behavior. Safari’s tab preferences determine whether a new tab is foreground or background.
